Entries for our Open Meet on 19th and 20th March 2022 open soon. The meet comprises of 50m, 100m and 200m events, with finals for the 100m Freestyle event.
As a swimming club we need lots of volunteers throughout the club, but we need committed support in one area in particular: Officials. We need officials for all team galas and we are expected to provide officials for Open Meets we attend as well.
The more officials we have the better, we can then rotate the responsibility more fairly. Being an official also has big advantages – you get in for free, get refreshments and often a meal at Open Meets and you’re that much closer to the action. Please get involved – you can get more information here!
This weekend we welcome swimmers from various clubs around the Midlands to our first Open Meet since March 2020. With the pandemic preventing our swimmers from competing face to face, this will be a great event to kick start the competitive calendar.
The event takes place on Sunday 19th, with the first session warm up at 8:30am. Warm up times and lanes are available here.
Please note, spectating is limited to 1 person per swimmer. Wristbands will be issued for each session at £3 for one session, £5 for both. Maximum capacity is 300 and once reached, no further spectators will be admitted. Clubs have received a full set of terms and conditions.
The AGM is to be held virtually on Thursday 17th June 2021 at 8pm.
Nominations are invited for Officers of Nuneaton and Bedworth Swimming Club. All nominations must be proposed & seconded by members of NBSC. Please see the form below for details of how to nominate and for voting details.
Nomination forms will be removed from the pool (Pingles) on Tuesday 1st June (as Monday is a bank holiday and there will be no training).
